Christopher Elwes came to coaching after a career in Fine Art. Auction houses are people intensive places, where managers have to juggle the aspirations and whims of highly specialised Fine Art experts, while managing the expectations of buyers and sellers. During his time with Christies and Bonham's, Christopher developed people skills that have been invaluable to him since embarking on his career as a business coach.
Christopher has been coaching and mentoring business owners since leaving the auction world in 2001. As a founder member of Pharos he recognised the need for a structured programme that is able to deliver measurable and sustainable improvements. He loves the programme because it is equally relevant to a small business owner as it is to senior managers and directors of major companies.
During the last year he has run eight programmes into multi national companies and has also coached three owner managers of smaller businesses.
Christopher's one regret is that the Pharos Programme was not available to him in his earlier career. But today, at least, he is well equipped to help others realise the benefits of his professional coaching.
